2004 Nik Huber Dolphin Redwood
A late 2004 Nik Huber Redwood Dolphin in korina. Features a 25.5" set neck w/ebony fretboard, a one-piece exceptional redwood top over a chambered (almost semihollow, actually) korina body. Neck is "small-modern" in profile and size.
Maple pickup rings, Harry Haeussel P90HB pickups, volume + tone controls (tone ctrl. switches to series connected pickups), gold hardware.
Pots are 500k to allow for greater tone flexibility; "neutral" setting is on "7", open up if you need more high end "zing" (i.e. fingerpicking) or all the way to 10 (=bypass) for even more crispness and definition.
The tone is twangy (bridge mid position), fat and jazzy (p.ups in series), hendrix-y and acoustic (neck position).
Excellent conditions, plenty of fretlife left. One 1 mm nick on the rear of headstock is all the "damage" there is, besides swirl marks on body.
Comes with original TKL case and COA.
Eur 2'500.- plus shipping (list price: Eur 4000)

80s Schecter Hendrix Edition
For grabs a 1980s Schecter strat in Hendrix edition. Basically it's an ash strat body, finished in a sturdy ferrari red finish, with a nice hard-rock maple neck - but with a reverse strat shaped headstock.
The bridge pickup too is flipped around - just like it would have been on Jimi's guitar. Original "fat pole" Schecter pickups and original Vol / Tone / bass contour circuit.
Comes with original OHSC and additional unused black pickguard.
Condition 9.75/10.00.
Asking price Eur 1'000 + shipping.

1992 Hamer USA - T62
|
Another bolt-on classic from the
Hamer USA shop. This guitar features a very intensely figured birdseye neck, with a pau-ferro fretboard on a 7/8 s-shaped ash body. The overall feel is of extreme lightness and resonance - this baby has a nice modern tone which can easily be transformed in a more vintage vibe (see next paragraph). Electronics are semi-active: a switch activates a boost/cut 3 band EQ iin lieu of a tone control. The electronics work even when the battery is dead. The AB M 2 point tremolo works glitch free - this guitar DOES stay in tune when you use the trem bar. The original Seymour Duncan pickups are included, along with the Hamer OHSC, but Häussel Alnico V pickups have recently been mounted (the guitar sounds really much, much better). As a matter of curiosity: inside the tremolo cover you will find the original descriptive sticker, which also displays the original recommended selling price ($1'750). A great super-str*t which Hamer unfortunately decided to drop...
Price: Eur 900.-

Hamer USA Steve Stevens I
|
***ON HOLD (pending custom ordered refinish)***
Here is the child of the encounter of Hamer with creative guitarist Steve Stevens. Unlike the other 2 vintage Hamers, this one features a set-neck (25.5") with an ebony fretboard. The guitar is completely original down to the Di Marzio humbucker and OBL singles and to the infamous Floyd Rose un-recessed tremolo. The 3 way selector lets you choose between bridge (full or split), bridge split + middle, neck and all the sounds of this eye popping axe are very usable, both clean and distorted.... Conditions: there are little bumps and bruises all over the edges - nothing serious, but nevertheless. The paint around the locking nut shows crack around the perimeter of the "base" of the nut (pictures coming); the headstock joint is *solid*, only the paint has cracked. This also justifies the ridiculously low price of 350 euro....

2005 Reverend Slingshot Custom
**SOLD**
This is the very last US made Reverend Slingshot Custom.
The guitar was acquired for demoes here in Europe, but the unfortunate decision of John Naylor to quit making guitars in the US spelled the end of my project to import them in Italy.
The guitar is in "quasi-mint" condition (it was demoed 4 times in total) and comes complete with all hang-tags as well as the original TwoTone OHSC.
The 3 P90 p.ups are connected to a 5 way switch AND - the best part - to a bass contour control which allows the sound to be trimmed from full P90 power to strat twang... a great idea that I wish would be used by other manufacturers as well....
Price is Eur 800 plus shipping.
